Kimberley: “Cher Lloyd is a mini Cheryl Cole”
X FACTOR 2010 star Cher Lloyd is like a mini Cheryl Cole, says OK! columnist Kimberley Walsh.
Our girl Kimberley Walsh, who is best pals with Cheryl Cole and can often be found backstage at the show’s studios, says Cher Lloyd is just like the X Factor 2010 judge.
Writing in her OK! column this week, she said: “I do see a little mini-Cheryl in Cher.
“There’s an ambition in her eyes and a star quality that Cheryl has.”
The beauty continued: “Louis Walsh has apparently called her ‘miserable and moody’ but every time I’ve met her she’s been lovely.
“Louis just needs to stop talking really. Every time I seem him I’m like: ‘Will you just stop!’
“But bless him, he can’t help himself,” she laughed.
“If he has said anything out of order, Cheryl will put him in his place!”

Will Cheryl Cole quit X Factor to focus on her music?
Cheryl Cole is on the verge of quitting The X Factor after this series to concentrate on her music career, it is thought.
The 27-year-old, who has come under attack from fans and finalists this series, is on the brink of launching her pop career in the U.S. which would mean spending more time than ever across the Atlantic, trying to break the U.S. market.
Despite her commitments to the ITV reality show, she made a 36-hour trip to Los Angeles this month, after a last-minute call from the U.S. arm of record firm Universal.
The Mail has learned that she is close to signing a U.S. record contract with the company.
Meanwhile, Simon Cowell is still keen to give Cheryl a judging role on the U.S. series of The X Factor which will launch next year.
Bosses from Fox network, which will screen the show, flew to Britain last week to watch the show live for the second time this series – and to scout Mrs Cole.
A show source said: ‘Cheryl is hot property and breaking America is the next obvious step in her career, whether she does The X Factor or not.
Simon adores Cheryl and has told friends it is a “good bet” she will be joining him, but he has to persuade the Fox executives.’
She had been thinking of making this her last series of the ITV show so she could concentrate on starting a family with her husband Ashley, before they divorced, it was thought.
Last night, a source close to Mrs Cole said: ‘We have not yet started talking about the next series.’
This is the seventh results show of this years X Factor. Cher was unfortuneatly in the bottom 2 this week with Paije. She managed to sing again and the judges saved her for another week.

Cheryl Cole sensationally let rip at Wagner in X Factor last night over comments he made about her coming from a council estate.
The 27-year-old star, who grew up in one of Newcastle’s toughest neighbourhoods, angrily laid into the Brazilian contestant after his performance.
She told him: ‘Normally I don’t have anything constructive to say to you, but I’ve heard this week you have been making some comments about me to the Press about being from a council estate.’
She then blasted him, saying: ‘Yes I am and I am very proud of my roots and I am very lucky.’
A shocked Wagner retorted: ‘Don’t believe what you read in the Press.’
Speaking after the judges had finished their comments, Wagner then tried to explain himself further.
Elaborating on his comments reported in yesterday’s Daily Mirror, where he is said to have branded Cheryl ‘just a girl from a council estate who ‘got lucky’, he told Cheryl: ‘I didn’t know the guy was a journalist.’
Cheryl then became tearful as he told her: ‘I didn’t know the guy was a journalist.
‘He asked me what I think of Cheryl and I said Cheryl is a role model for the young people of this nation because I believe she has lived on a council estate and so many people who live in a council estate don’t believe they can achieve a better standard of living.
BLUSHING Cheryl Cole has been hit by the fart factor.
Viewers reckon that while the 27-year-old passed judgement on her act Cher Lloyd, 17, she passed wind as well.
A noise can clearly be heard on a replay of the show on ITV Player, the station’s on-demand service. The incident sparked a host of hilarious Tweets and messages.
Gabriellebc1 tweeted: “Full of hot air then Cheryl? Bloody hilarious!”
A viewer called Mary blogged: “I said to my boyfriend, did she just fart or was it the fire? I’ve been laughing my ass off ever since!!!”
xMaster said: “As there’s no microphone on their ass, who’s to say it wasn’t another judge? It could have been Simon!”
A show insider said: “No-one really believes Cheryl, the nation’s sweetheart, let one rip on live TV. But we can’t work out what the noise is and everyone’s being giggling about it ever since.”
Kimberley Walsh: Katie Waissel is a bit mad but sweet
KIMBERLEY Walsh thinks her Girls Aloud bandmate Cheryl Cole’s X Factor 2010 act Katie Waissel, is more genuine than people think.
Kimberley Walsh reveals in her OK! column this week that X Factor 2010’s Katie Waissel – who pal Cheryl Cole mentors – might not receive a great reception from the public but she makes our girl go all tingly inside.
Kimberley admitted: “Katie Waissel is getting lots of flack and I know people love to hate her but whenever I see her I get really warm vibes from her.”
But Kimberley did confess she thinks the husky-voiced singer does turn it on a bit in front of the glaring lens.
Kimberley continued: “She is clearly a little bit mad and I do think she switches it on a bit too much for the camera because I think she feels that’s what she has to do.
She just needs to relax a bit because she’s very sweet.”

This is the sixth results show of this years X Factor and yet again another controversial results show ! Katie found herself in the bottom two with Aiden Grimshaw. After they sung the judges couldn’t decide who to send home so it went to deadlock. Once again, Katie is saved as Aiden had the least number of votes.
