Hip-hop star Jay-Z has backed Kimberley Walsh to crack the States
Jay-Z, 40, is a huge fan of Girls Aloud sexpot Kimberley Walsh and has decided he wants to take the Yorkshire crumpet, 28, under his wing to make her massive Stateside.

A music insider told us: “Everyone’s always talking about great Cheryl is and how she’s going to go far.

“But Jay thinks Kimberley’s killer curves and laid-back attitude would fly in the States.”

The industry source added: “He wants to help her get TV presenting deals and is hooking up some meetings. He loves her soulful voice too.”

Cheryl Cole has pledged to stand by her man… but she is moving to Los Angeles.

The sexy X Factor star, 26, wants to copy pals Posh and Becks and “break” America, leaving husband Ashley back home.

Singer Cheryl hopes to launch her TV and solo music career there by February.

She made a vow of “long distance love” to the Chelsea left-back, who will not leave Britain because of his own career.

Friends say living apart will strain their relationship. Two years ago, Ashley, 28, allegedly cheated on Cheryl. A source said that he “isn’t happy” about her leaving.

“He thinks she’s being selfish but Cheryl’s career is her top priority,” the source said. Cheryl is caught in a bidding war between a US record label and Simon Cowell, 50.

TV’s Mr Nasty is fighting to win the US rights to her solo album 3 Words.

Christmas has come early for Cheryl Cole. She’s gone platinum in the UK and now she won’t have to Fight Fight Fight to make it in the US.

We can reveal that the richest man in hip-hop, Jay-Z, wants to take the X Factor judge under his wing and kick-start her career Stateside.
The pair are in talks for a collaboration and Cheryl is over the moon.

She already has the backing of US hit-maker Will.i.am, who produced her debut album 3 Words and now she’s hoping to make music with Beyonce’s hubby too.
