Kimberley Walsh wants Glee producers to make a Girls Aloud episode.

The US musical TV show has already featured songs by stars such as Madonna, Lady Gaga and Britney Spears.

Asked about whether she’d like to see Girls Aloud’s music in Glee, Kimberley, 28, told OK! magazine: “That would be amazing. Why can’t they do that?! You could completely turn our songs in a theatrical direction if you wanted. It would be amazing – put it out there please!”

She added: “I started watching thinking maybe it would be too cheesy for me, but that’s the beauty of it – it’s total escapism.”

Kimberley said of Girls Aloud recording again: “Although we’re supposed to be having a bit of a break, I don’t want to rest too much, because I get bored.”

Kimberley Walsh has signed up to host new celebrity and music show Suck My Pop.

The programme, which will air on Viva, is said to include showbiz news, interviews and performances.

The Friday evening series will also broadcast the Official Chart Update, a ‘Top Five’ feature and a segment on what celebrities have been saying online.

Walsh, who will host the show alongside Will Best, said: “I’m so excited to be hosting Suck My Pop on Viva! It’s going to be such a fun show, jam-packed with all the latest music and entertainment news. If I wasn’t presenting the show, I’d definitely be watching it!”

The Girls Aloud star has previously hosted a documentary about jeans and presented live from the red carpet at the BAFTAs.

Kimberley Walsh is set to host Channel 4′s new tea-time show ‘The 5 O’Clock Show’ which boasts ‘fun and games, exciting stunts and interviews with the presenters’ famous friends’.

Cheryl Cole has revealed that she would like to pay a visit to the Home and Away set when she travels to Australia later this year.

The star’s track ’3 Words’ has already become a top five single Down Under, and she is now planning to promote her music there further.

Cole’s last visit to Australia came in 2006 as part of a Girls Aloud promotional tour, which saw the group touring the Neighbours studios in Melbourne among other appearances.

Speaking to 2DayFM about her Australian plans, the 26-year-old confirmed: “I’m coming out in August. I’m excited. [It's] a promo visit but I’m going to make the most of it, I’m going to have a little look around. I’ve actually been there before and I went to the Neighbours set.”

Asked whether she would now like to see Home and Away’s base in Sydney, she replied: “Yeah, I’d love to. A bit of culture!”

Cole is currently busy supporting the Black Eyed Peas on tour.
