Sarah Harding ‘writing songs about troubles for solo LP’

Sarah Harding has allegedly been writing songs about her turbulent private life, with reports suggesting the tracks could feature on her debut solo album.

According to The Mirror, the Girls Aloud star has put pen to paper to document her split from DJ Tom Crane and her time in rehab, where she spent time receiving treatment for depression, alcohol and prescription drug abuse.

Harding, who hit the headlines earlier this month following a physical fight with her ex-beau Theo De Vries, is also said to be keen to co-write new songs for GA when they return to the stage to celebrate their ten year anniversary.

A source told the newpaper: “Sarah’s been jotting down lyrics and writing songs for the past few months.

“After the year from hell in 2011, she is now desperate just to get back to her first love – music. She’s had a few meetings and is getting a lot of interest from labels but hasn’t decided which one to go with yet.”

They continued: “As well as writing about the breakdown of her relationship with Tom, she has detailed her time in therapy, and been pretty explicit about her battles with booze.

“There is some very raw, heartfelt stuff – not the kind of thing people will be expecting. Sarah’s had some pretty wild experiences and wants the album to reflect this.”

Nadine Coyle Hopes to Release A Second Solo Album

nadineNadine Coyle has revealed she has enough songs to release a second solo album, after her debut Insatiable hits shelves in November.

The pop star says many of the tracks she wrote for her first CD didn’t make the final cut, but she could release them in the future.

“I write from my subconscious and there were times where I’d leave the song and go back to it and think, ‘I can’t say that’,” the 25-year-old beauty told the Daily Star. “Obviously you don’t want to go too far into your emotions but I’m not guarded either.

“I’ve got loads more songs that didn’t make it onto the album,” she continued, and when asked if a second solo was being planned, Nadine responded: “You’re getting a bit ahead of yourself, but hopefully.”

The Girls Aloud singer also added that she was always destined to be on the stage. “Everybody has to have a job and I’m not going to work in a bar, that’d be a big career change, and anything else would be too.” she explained.

“I always wanted to be a singer, a member of a band or a backing singer. I used to picture myself playing live shows. I saw the sweeping camera motions, the big gowns, the band playing behind me. Now I’m getting to live that out it’s so exciting.”

Nadine Coyle Wants Cee-Lo Song

nadineNadine Coyle wants to write a song for, and duet with, Cee Lo Green.

The ‘Red Light’ singer said she loves the voice of soul singer Cee Lo – who is one half of ‘Crazy’ hitmakers Gnarls Barkley – and would love to star on a track with him, but would insist he toned things down from his most recent single ‘F**k You’, which was re-recorded as ‘Forget You’ for the radio.

Nadine exclusively told BANG Showbiz: “Do you know who I love? Cee Lo Green, I’d love to sing with him on a song that I wrote.

“Although it’d would hopefully not feature as much profanity as his recent song. But he just has a voice that really captures me.”

Nadine also said she didn’t consciously make her track ‘Insatiable’ – her debut single – with 80s styling, although it has been said it bears resemblance to a song from that era.

She added: “I didn’t pick the 80s at all. I was born in the 80s, so it’s not a particular time that I even remember well!

“What I think its people are saying 80s because it’s got the live instruments on it, live drum kit, live brass, live lead guitar, live pianos, all that stuff, so it’s got that older feel.

“The 80s to me feels like a Cyndi Lauper and stuff like that. I didn’t ever intend to go 80s.”

Nadine’s debut solo single ‘Insatiable’ is released on November 1, and her album of the same name will follow on November 8.

Nadine to take on Cheryl in charts battle

TAKE cover because the GIRLS ALOUD feud is about to go public as CHERYL COLE and NADINE COYLE go head-to-head in an epic charts battle.

The pair haven’t spoken for more than a year but I hear they’re planning to release solo singles within days of each other at the end of October.

And, unless Nadine backs down, I predict she’ll be left battered and bruised by the encounter.

Chart-topping Chezza is planning to launch her French-inspired tune Promise This on The X Factor.

I had an eXSclusive listen to it yesterday and Nad has got one hell of a job on her hands to get to the top spot with her weaker song Insatiable. Every little will have to help Nad, who’s signed to, er, Tesco.

She needs to have a mega hit on her hand after spending two years writing and recording the album. My music source said: “Cheryl’s song is a guaranteed No1. Nadine is mad to try and compete with that.”

Nad also makes her feelings clear on the album about her Girls Aloud bandmates.

I’ve been leaked lyrics to one track called Chained in which she says: “I feel chained by you. I wish I could be stronger…”

I was the first to reveal tensions in the band in December 2008 and things only seem to be getting worse. A source said: “Nadine thinks she’s a better singer so she’s determined to win. But she won’t.”

Sarah Harding recording an album?

Sarah album?Sarah Harding previously denied that she wants to release a solo album, before admitting that she was writing and thinking about recording an album, and now we know for sure she is!

At least, according to her boyfriend.

Sarah’s boyfriend Tom Crane, who is DJing in Ibiza, told reporters, “I’m really missing Sarah. I’ve been in Ibiza loads and she’s busy recording in the studio.”

But don’t expect him to tell us anything about how Sarah’s feeling about fellow band member Cheryl Cole’s illness – he’s not allowed!

He said: “I always get told off for blabbing.”
