| Company meets Sarah Harding! | |
Sarah Harding has landed the top job as the new legs of Veet (we can’t think of anyone more fitting the job!) so when she invited me down for a girly chat one afternoon last week I jumped at the chance – one-on-one with a member of Girls Aloud to talk about all things beauty related? Erm, can you say dream job! Kicking off our shoes, tying up our hair and pulling off our false lashes we curled up on the sofa for a chat while scoffing Haribo Starmix…. Congratulations on your new title as ‘The Legs of Veet’. You’re looking very glam! Sarah: Thanks hon. It’s hard work trying to be glamorous all day, I’m so not used to being dressed up in the daytime. You manage it well! Speaking of which, hair removal generally isn’t seen as that exciting but you’re glamming it up – how do you feel about being the ‘legs’ of Veet? Sarah: I kind of like it. It’s nice to be asked to do it, to have my legs recognised. I’d never thought about them much but legs are something that we women are always focusing on making sure that they’re smooth and look good. And of course I’ve used Veet throughout the years. It’s such a great, easy product to use and now it’s got the new velvet rose scent it’s even better. So do you class your legs as one of your top assets? Sarah: I’m noticing them a lot more now because of this but until recently I hadn’t really taken much notice of them. Our stylist always said I had great legs, she was always trying to get me to show them off. The only thing I wish is that they were a bit longer, but that’s what heels are for. |

| Sarah Harding: ‘My hot new look – this is the real me’ | |
The fiery fifth of Girls Aloud, 28, reveals her softer side as she talks leaving her reckless alter ego behind, acting aspirations and her secrets to looking beach-ready… Despite having a reputation as the wild child of Girls Aloud (even though she’s the oldest in the group at 28), Sarah Harding has kept the lowest profile of the all the girls since they announced they were having a break to pursue their own projects in July last year. So we were excited, if a little bit surprised, when out of the blue we were invited to catch up with her for an exclusive chat. And once we got Sarah started, she didn’t hold back. She was more candid and chatty than ever before, and top of her agenda was revealing the reasons for her radical new look, why she thinks people have got her all wrong, and how she’s now free to show her true colours… So with your new look and posing with rose petals for our exclusive cover photo – don’t say you’ve gone all Julie Andrews on us? You’re portrayed as a party animal, so are you a bit misunderstood? |

| Veet Girl Sarah Harding | |
The Girls Aloud beauty will front a campaign for the hair removal firm to promote their new range Suprem’ Essence Hair Removal, which is enriched with essential oils and a velvet rose fragrance for delicately scented smoothness. She said of her new role: “It’s really important for me to take care of my appearance and Veet’s new Suprem’ Essence range is brilliant for giving me smooth, gorgeous legs. I love the rose smell and my legs are left feeling soft and moisturised. I’ve been using Veet’s hair removal creams for years because they last up to twice as long as shaving and don’t leave irritating stubble – perfect for girls on the go! The wax strips are great to use before a holiday because they leave my legs smooth for up to four weeks meaning that I can relax and know that they will stay hair free while I’m abroad.” The new Suprem’ Essence range includes Ready To Use Wax Strips and three cream formats to suit every girl’s preference. The creams have a delicate rose fragrance instead of the usual depilatory cream smell and are enriched with essential oils resulting in cared-for, touchable smoothness. The wax strips can remove hair as short as 2mm from the root, and will leave you with luxuriously smooth skin for up to 4 weeks. |

| Sarah Harding’s so elegant | |
But when Sarah Harding’s boyfriend Tom Crane hit a London night club with the Girls Aloud star last night, he seemed to have forgotten to get dressed up for the occasion. While Sarah looked elegant in an off the shoulder maxi dress complete with silver heels, Tom looked like he had come straight from the garden in a pair of fraying cut-off denim shorts. But it seems Sarah was not too bothered by her boyfriend’s casual look as she was pictured grinning and holding hands with Tom as she left Kanaloa night club. Tom’s self-imposed informal dress code was enhanced by his navy shirt, which hung loosely down his front and a pair of navy deck shoes, which he wore without socks. The Girls Aloud star, meanwhile, looked stunning in a multi-coloured floor-length dress which was split on one side up to her thigh, revealing her tanned and toned legs. And having just returned from sun-drenched Cannes, it’s no wonder Sarah chose to bare just a little of her freshly-tanned flesh. |

| Sarah’s bar nominated for top award | |
The Girls Aloud singer, who opened the Polynesian-themed London hotspot last November with DJ boyfriend Tom Crane and co-owners Nick House and Piers Adam, is up for Best Bar against Leslie Ash and husband Lee Chapman’s bar Juju, Mahiki, McQueen and Aquum in the London Club And Bar Awards. “Sarah Harding and Kanaloa combined are a force to be reckoned with, regardless of the fact they are so new to the scene – however, they are up against some of the best in the business with institutions and landmarks such as Mahiki, Harvey Nichols and Juju in the Best Bar category,” said spokesperson Charlie Mason-Parson. Kanaloa has become one of the most popular bars in the capital, with celebrities such as Zac Efron, Sugababes and JLS hanging out there. The winners of the awards will be announced on June 7 in London. |

| Sarah Harding attends the Belvedere Vodka Party | |
Sarah Harding is currently in Cannes, and last night she partied at the Belvedere Vodka Party. When Sarah was asked if her and Cheryl were going to meet up (due to Cheryl being at the de Grisogono Dinner Party), she claimed “I didn’t know Cheryl was arriving until yesterday.” She also revealed new plans to be a film producer rather than an actor. “Coming to Cannes and seeing what crap films are on the market has made me think I could make something a lot better.” |
