Cheryl Cole says she is often spotted without her wedding ring as it doesn’t go with all her outfits.
X Factor judge Cheryl Cole has rubbished rumours her marriage to Ashley Cole is on the rocks after being spotted minus her ring, insisting she only takes it off to make a “fashion statement.”

The 3 Words singer revealed: “Do people really think I’m going to have an argument and take my ring off? It was a fashion statement more than a marriage statement.

“As my wedding ring is yellow it doesn’t go with everything.”

X Factor judge Cheryl Cole insists her marriage is rock solid – by proudly showing off her wedding ring on Twitter.

The Girls Aloud beauty flashes the £160,000 band given to her by her England star husband Ashley Cole right in front of her face in a snap posted on the Twitter page of her management company, Supersonic PR.

The message under the picture simply states ‘3 Words. Diamonds Are Forever’ indicating her marriage to the Chelsea defender is as strong as ever.

It was revealed that the couple had a tiff after Cheryl’s dazzling performance at the Children In Need charity concert last week at the Royal Albert Hall.

Cheryl wanted to stay up partying but Ashley was desperate to get home and go to bed.

The couple’s marriage was rocked in January last year after The Sun revealed Ashley cheated on his wife with hairdresser Aimee Walton.
