American actress and singer Selena Gomez has revealed that she had fallen in love with the newly announced ‘X Factor’ judge Cheryl Cole.

Gomez confessed her liking for Cole before singing a cover version of her hit ‘Parachute’ to a swarming crowd of young fans.

“When I was in London last year, I fell in love with a British artist. She is so cool. Her name is Cheryl Cole,” the Daily Mail quoted her as saying.

“This song that I’m going to perform for you guys, you might not know, but I feel like the lyrics are very beautiful. This song is called ‘Parachute’,” the star added.

Though the ‘Girls aloud’ singer is almost an unknown in the U.S. She has found a fan in the 18-year-old Gomez
