Nicola took time out of Tour rehearsals to sit Front Row at the House of Holland A/W13 catwalk show on Saturday.
In the above video, she says how Henry’s ‘Disco Granny’ collection is possibly her favourite ever, her fantasy front row becoming true when she sat next to Kayne West once and Rihanna’s style.

Little Mix have premiered a new track called Going Nowhere which features them beatboxing and rapping!
Taken from their debut album, the track was co-written by Iain James, Fred Ball and Nicola Roberts.
It’s about the realisation that a relationship is going nowhere as the boyfriend isn’t making an effort anymore.
They hit the chorus with the lyrics: ‘Leave, you’re not the boy you said you’d be. And it’s so hard for me to breath.
‘How can I love you boy if you’re going nowhere? We’re going nowhere.’

Singer Nicola Roberts officially opened Alder Hey Hospital’s brand new mental health facility. The Girl’s Aloud singer visited the new facility, Alder Park, where she met patients, families and staff at the Unit before the official opening.
Nicola spent time learning about the Unit from patients and families, before taking a tour to view the facilities on offer. She then officially opened Alder Park by unveiling a special picture, created by patient Jacob Scott especially for the occasion.
Located in the Waterloo area of Liverpool, Alder Hey purchased the large purpose built facility as the old site at the hospital in West Derby became unfit for purpose. The new designated facility offers more therapeutic and recreational space, while its close proximity to a beach and local park provides outdoor activities for patients and families to enjoy.
Nicola said: “I am delighted to open this new Dewi Jones Unit in Alder Park today. The patients have told me how excited they are to have a brand new unit right next to the beach. Jacob’s picture for the opening is amazing and I’m honoured that the patients have asked me to open it for them. It was lovely to meet them and their families.”
As one of only seven dedicated children’s units in the country, Alder Park’s catchment area includes Merseyside, Cheshire and the Wirral but it also accepts referrals from the Isle of Man and North Wales. The Unit looks after around 50 young people every year with a wide range of conditions such as depression, anxiety, obsessive compulsive disorder, psychosis, eating disorders and ADHD.
As an Investing in Children hospital, Alder Hey is keen to involve patients in developing its services. Young people and their families were taken to view the site and consider ideas for redevelopment. They were also consulted on the layout and design of the facility, including the use of space, colour scheme, decor, bedroom fittings, furniture, equipment and outdoor space. Since moving, they continue to discuss ideas for their new facility, including different use of space.
Andrea O’Donnell, Nurse Consultant at Alder Park explains: “We care for children and young people up to 14 years old who have a wide range of complex difficulties. Along with providing second opinions, consultations and assessment for our outpatients, we have nine beds on the Unit for our inpatients. Many of these children and young people stay with us for three months or more so this facility needs to be right for them. It was really important to us that our patients and families were involved in designing and planning the new facility.”
The team at Alder Park includes nursing and support staff, psychologists, medical and family therapists. Their extensive knowledge and experience allows them to offer many different types of intervention, including medication, cognitive behaviour therapy, family therapy, parenting interventions, neuro cognitive assessments and psychodynamic psychotherapy. Group therapy and therapeutic activities are also available while the facility has access to the hospital’s Play Service and Arts for Health programme.
Sue Brown, General Manager for District Services at Alder Hey said: “We are delighted that Nicola could join us in celebrating such a special day for our patients and families, especially as she is a real favourite with our children. On behalf of everyone at our new Alder Park, I wish to take this opportunity to sincerely thank Nicola for coming today to open our new home and express her support for the Unit.”

The pale and interesting Girls Alouder and style icon talks to Celebs On Sunday about finding her fashion groove, and getting the band back together (scream)…

We’ve long been members of Team Ginge. Because Nicola Roberts is a bit different from your average, formulaic pop star. Not intimidatingly beautiful, thus not sent to make us feel cacky about ourselves, she’s paler than a white-washed wall and proud of it.
Plus, since Girls Aloud went on their sabbatical, she’s made cool-as-owt solo music to please herself and not the charts (they all say that, but in Nicola’s case it’s true).
And now, she’s a judge on our fave fashion show Styled To Rock, in which a bunch of young upstarts compete to design an outfit for Rihanna to wear on stage, the final of which airs this week.
We’re sat in a pub in London’s Primrose Hill waiting for Nicola’s entrance, and we’re expecting big things. The Girls Alouder is a fully fledged fashionista these days, muse for her Styled To Rock judging mate, Henry Holland, and a regular on the front row at London Fashion Week.
But instead of some edgy, high-end appearance, we’re pleased to report the 27-year-old looks, well, refreshingly regular.
Nicola protests when we describe her as a style icon, although this is her being modest (but who would go, ‘Yes, I am in fact the most fashionable, best-dressed person in all the land’, to be fair?) and tells us she is in actual fact clad in head-to-toe stuff we could buy in the Arndale Centre – Asos jumper, jeans and boots from Topshop.
‘So I’m super high street today,’ she says, although she is wearing mahoosive rock star shades, so dark she almost sits on a non-existent bench she thinks she’s seen). ‘Oh, but my bag is Mulberry,’ she mutters.
We’re here to talk about the show, but there’s something else we want to know more. Which is when the blazes are the Best Girl Band In The World Ever getting back together?
‘Argh, I just want to say everything and I can’t…OK, um, what can I say? It’s sooner than you think,’ she says. ‘I can’t say anything else, but we are all super excited, and it’s gonna be good.’
The rumour mill suggests it will be early next year, so ‘sooner than we think’ sounds like later this year…
Our theory is they’ll do it to mark 10 years of fame, to coincide with the time they won their places in the band on Popstars: The Rivals. Nicola was the baby of the competition, barely out of school uniform and living in Runcorn, with no money.
