Cheryl Cole is bravely bouncing back from her marriage split and can’t wait to party.

The Girls Aloud singer opened her heart for the first time since parting from cheating football star husband Ashley as she arrived in Copenhagen. Cheryl was in the Danish capital as she prepared to perform her new single Parachute on the local version of X Factor.

Keen to reassure her fans she was getting on with her life after the turmoil of the last few weeks, the beauty smiled: “Everything’s good. I’m rocking it and enjoying myself. If there’s a party I’ll be there. That’s what it’s all about.” Cheryl, 26, who is staying in a £500-a-night hotel suite, joked about letting her hair down after her performance.

She said: “I’ll show you my moves don’t you worry. Let’s do the one where we go down low together. Everyone thinks I’ve got some soul with my moves.” Asked how she was feeling following the split from the Chelsea ace, she replied calmly: “Everything’s good. I’m okay.”

Earlier fellow diners remarked how she was in high spirits.

One said: “For someone who has been through so much lately, it didn’t seem to show. She was in a thoroughly good mood.”

But last night friends said Cheryl is still in emotional pain.One revealed: “There are good times and bad but Cheryl’s determined to move on.”

She announced the end of her three year marriage two weeks ago after it emerged Ashley, 29, had allegedly cheated with four women and sent lewd pictures to a fifth. The £100,000-a-week player is being treated for a broken ankle in France.

Cheryl Cole met the press for her first media interviews since her marriage split today, but there was one topic strictly off limits – Mr Ashley Cole.

Local Danish journalists conducted interviews with Cheryl in Copenhagen this morning as she continued her push to promote her new album 3 Words in Europe.

But reporters were firmly instructed by her camp to keep questioning about her music and were informed her relationship woes must not to be mentioned. She then headed off to spend the afternoon rehearsing ahead of her live Danish X Factor performance of Fight For This Love tonight.

Cheryl’s stay in the Scandinavian country has been decidedly low key.

She arrived back at her five-star hotel last night via a rear underground car park at 7pm. Before dinner at the hotel restaurant, she freshened up in her exclusive penthouse suite on the sixth floor of the Petri. She came down and dined on chicken and salad with her tour manager and an aide and retired to her suite for an early night.

She has looked drained and emotional in recent days, particularly as she made her way through Copenhagen airport yesterday.

Cheryl Cole has agreed to attend counselling sessions with her errant husband. Despite originally telling friends she was intent on divorcing Ashley, and then refusing to take his calls, the Girls Aloud singer has had a change of heart.

The Daily Mail has learned that the X Factor judge has given in following a series of phone calls and text messages from the shamed Chelsea footballer, 29, pleading for another chance.

The breakthrough appears to have been aided by ‘Team Ashley’ – which includes his mother Sue, some of his Chelsea colleagues and even, sources say, team owner Roman Abramovich – and their attempts to portray Cole as a victim rather than a serial love rat.

Sources claim Cheryl, 26, has started to believe she is also at fault for the breakdown of their three-and-a-half-year marriage. The first counselling session will take place as early as next week, after the footballer returns from a sports rehabilitation clinic in France where he is being treated for a broken ankle.

As Cheryl Cole battles through a difficult separation with her cheating husband, her friends are rallying around and last night that friend was Nicola Roberts who stayed with her until 1am.

Her Girls Aloud bandmate comforted Cheryl at her £6m Surrey mansion until the early hours. When Nicola finally left, she looked notably distressed.

Cheryl hasn’t left her house since returning from Los Angeles, where she was spending most of her time with American dancer Derek Hough.

The 26-year-old will need her friends and family even more after hearing the latest allegations that Ashley Cole blames his cheating on Chezza’s mother, the Daily Mail reported.

The Chelsea player allegedly told friends that his sex life with Cheryl became almost non-existent once her mother Joan Callaghan moved into their marital home.

Ashley was spending most of his time at home playing on his Xbox computer game, while his X Factor judge wife would watch TV with her mum.

The source told the paper that their marriage ‘was not great’ and they ‘barely saw each other in the last few months. Ashley fled their Surrey home after receiving a text from Cheryl telling him ‘move out’.

‘Cheryl wanted Ashley to come and for them to put on a brave face, but he spent all week deliberating,’ a source revealed.

‘He finally said yes as all the other partners were going.’

The message under the picture simply states ‘3 Words. Diamonds Are Forever’ indicating her marriage to the Chelsea defender is as strong as ever.

It was revealed that the couple had a tiff after Cheryl’s dazzling performance at the Children In Need charity concert last week at the Royal Albert Hall.

Cheryl wanted to stay up partying but Ashley was desperate to get home and go to bed.

The couple’s marriage was rocked in January last year after The Sun revealed Ashley cheated on his wife with hairdresser Aimee Walton.

The Girls Aloud beauty tried to wash away the new rumours after X-Factor aides claimed she’d merely forgotten to put on the £160,000 diamond rock after washing her hands.

But her bare hands have now cast speculation of a new rift in her marriage to Cole.

A friend told the Daily Mail: ‘The truth is the marriage is over, even if neither of them wants to confront it. They still have the occasional moment of fun but they both know, particularly Cheryl, that this isn’t going to be forever.’

‘The pattern of their relationship seems to be that she achieves something, he goes off in a sulk and she spends the next three or four days massaging his ego and building him up again,’ said the friend. ‘He can be petulant, pouty and vain.

The latest marriage row comes after Cheryl recently admitted she is now ‘preventing’ herself from becoming pregnant because she barely sees her husband as she promotes her new solo career.

Last year, Cheryl, 26, was forced to publicly stand by her man after single mother Aimee Walton claimed she had slept with the footballer on a drunken night out.
