Meet Kimberley Walsh at her Body Care range launch
Hot on the news of Cheryl Cole’s meet & greet on Friday 24th, it’s been announced that Kimberley is launching her new Body Care range by Elegant Touch this Monday.
Kimberley will be signing for fans at the Superdrug store at WestField White City London on Monday 20th february at 3.45pm.
Girls Aloud singer Kimberley Walsh has said she will not persue a solo pop career.
The ‘Shrek: The Musical’ star’s bandmates Cheryl Cole, Nadine Coyle and Nicola Roberts have all released albums away from the five-piece girlband, with Sarah Harding reportedly in talks with a number of labels about following suit.
However, despite teaming up with Aggro Santos for his Top 10 hit ‘Like U Like’ last year, Kimberley has insisted that the only music career she’s interested in is as part of the band.
“It’s nice some of the girls have explored their passions through their solo albums but it’s not something I’m looking to do,” she told Metro. “I’m happy following my own ventures. I love performing, I love acting and presenting. I want to do other things.”
She also added: “What I’ve achieved musically with the girls is amazing and I’m happy with that. I applied for Popstars because I wanted to be in a group.”
Asked about the Girls Aloud reunion plans for 2012, she teased: “That would be telling. I’ve read a lot of speculation, which hasn’t been accurate. We’ll tell everyone in good time.”
Kimberley recently joined Twitter after bowing to “peer pressure” from Cole and Roberts.
You can now bid on a scarf that Kimberley Walsh has donated to raise money for charity.
The scarf, along with other celebrity items, is up on ebay for the Wrap Up Against Poverty campaign 2012.
It’s 100% cashmere camel-coloured, has the Louis Vuitton name emblazoned across it in tiny cut-out dots, and there is fringing at both ends of the scarf. It also comes in the original box.
Kimberley Walsh announces Body Care Range with Elegant Touch
Elegant Touch has announced a new collaboration with Kimberley Walsh.
The nail accessories brand has extended its portfolio to include a capsule range of four bodycare products, developed in partnership with the Girls Aloud singer.
An Elegant Touch spokesperson said: “We are delighted to be working with Kimberley on our very first bodycare range. With her beautiful skin and gorgeous body, she was the perfect choice to launch bodycare products and we are absolutely delighted with the results. Feedback so far has been incredibly positive and we are very much looking forward to the in-store launch.”
The partnership follows the launch of Girls Aloud Lashes, developed by sister brand Eylure, with which Kimberley has developed her very own sets of lashes. The Kimberley Walsh Body Care Range in collaboration with Elegant Touch will be available in stores nationwide from March.
Kimberley Walsh has donated a scarf, to help fight poverty.
The scarf, with other clothing items from celebrities, will be sold in an online charity auction for the Wrap Up Against Poverty campaign 2012.

This is the second year that the Wrap Up Against Poverty campaign has taken place, which aims at providing clothing for those in financial difficulty.
Last year Cherie Blair, Samantha Cameron, Christine Bleakley and Fearne Cotton were among those who donated items, helping to raise a total of £2,000.
This year organisers hope the campaign will be an even greater success.
Malcolm Tyndall, director at Elizabeth Finn Care, the charity responsible for the initiative, said: ‘We hope that, with the generous support of top celebrities and the fashion industry, not to mention an incredibly enthusiastic public, Wrap Up Against Poverty 2012 will enable us to help even more people.’
It is estimated that there are 13.5 million people living below the poverty line in the UK, among them 3.8 million children.
Elizabeth Finn Care’s auction will be hosted on eBay from Thursday 26th January, and will close on Sunday 26th February.
