Girls Aloud singer Kimberley Walsh has had £128,000 worth of jewellery she wore for an awards ceremony stolen, according to reports.

The 29-year-old had agreed to take a pair of earrings, a ring and a bracelet on loan from London’s de Grisogono to wear at Cosmopolitan’s Ultimate Women Of The Year ceremony last week.

However, Contactmusic says that the jewellery was later taken from a motorcycle courier who was returning the items to the boutique.

“We can confirm officers from Barnet CID are investigating the theft of two parcels,” a police statement reads. “They went missing while in transit from properties in North London to properties in Central London.

“One parcel contained a quantity of jewellery.”
