After spending most of last week in the front row at London Fashion Week shows, Nicola Roberts has her eyes on all the latest trends.
And on style that has caught her eye appears to be over-the-knee boots.

Spotted out in London last night, the Girls Aloud singer gave her romantic dresses an edgy look with a pair of sexy over-the-knee brown boots.

The 24-year-old redhead teamed a floral tea dress with the boots and a leather jacket at she left the Dorchester Hotel with boyfriend Charlie Fennell.

Roberts was seen out with her boyfriend after enjoying a girls night out at the Lady GaGa concert at the O2 Arena on Friday night.
She joined bandmates Cheryl Cole and Kimberly Walsh in a VIP box at the concert extravaganza.

Most of last week, Roberts was seen indulging her passion for fashion at the many shows in the capital.

Cheryl Cole has paid tribute to Alexander McQueen, the ‘fashion king’ who was found hanged yesterday morning (11th Feb).

Cheryl says “My heart goes out to Alexander’s family and friends at this unbelievably sad and tragic time. Fashion has lost one of its most talented and inspirational figures.”

Cheryl has worn many of his creations, the most memorable was the £4,000 see-through dress she wore on her 26th birthday party last year.

McQueen clothed many famous celebrities with his controversial creations, stars such as Victoria Beckham, Rihanna, Kate Moss and Sarah Jessica Parker have worn his designs. A true fashion icon will be sorely missed.

While most female stars seem intent on rolling back the years, Nicola Roberts appears to have developed a penchant for dressing like somebody three times her age.

The Girls Aloud star paid a visit to the Radio 1 studios wearing a pair of sheer pop socks that would be more apt for pensioner than a 24-year-old lady.

However, though they may be more suited to a more mature clientele, the socks are being worn more and more about town by trendsetters.

Nicola matched her knee-highs with a vintage black dress, a 50s-style leather jacket, strappy high heels and black handbag.

It’s not the first time she has indulged in her quirky fashion sense, in fact it has become something of a habit for the pop star.

Last October she wore a garish tweed suit that matched her red hair colouring to the Mayfair Hotel in London.

While, at London Fashion Week the previous month, she sported a see through top with floral print covering her modesty and velvet trousers.

In November she wore a mint green velvet trouser suit to the Make-A-Wish winter ball at the Dorchester Hotel, again an outfit that would be more suited to somebody far older.

X Factor judge Cheryl Cole has rubbished rumours her marriage to Ashley Cole is on the rocks after being spotted minus her ring, insisting she only takes it off to make a “fashion statement.”

The 3 Words singer revealed: “Do people really think I’m going to have an argument and take my ring off? It was a fashion statement more than a marriage statement.

“As my wedding ring is yellow it doesn’t go with everything.”

Nicola Roberts claims that the fashion world is where she fits in.
And never has she looked more at home than at the Vivienne Westwood show yesterday.

She and the designer, a fellow redhead appeared at ease as they posed at the Anglomania Spring / Summer 2010 Catwalk show at Selfridge’s department store.

Girls Aloud singer Nicola’s vibrant hair colour looked positively boring compared to the designer’s bush of bright locks.
Her black and white Anglomania dress highlighted her petite frame.

Nicola is currently enjoying a lighter schedule while Girls Aloud are on a one-year hiatus. The singers are all pursuing their own projects – Nicola has a make-up range called Dainty Doll – but intend to return to the studio together next year.
