Michael Jackson ‘would have worked with Cheryl Cole’
The love-in between Will.i.am and Cheryl Cole has reached new heights — or, depending on your point of view, depths — with the Black Eyed Peas mainman claiming that the Geordie singer and talent show judge would have duetted with Michael Jackson if he hadn’t died.
The Sun reports that Will.i.am did his best to convince the late ‘King Of Pop’ of Cheryl Cole’s talents. He said: “I told him Cheryl was the hottest thing in the UK and could sing and dance — basically, she was the complete package. He would have worked with her, no doubt, and it would have been something special.”
He continued: “They are both total perfectionists when it comes to their work so it would have been something really big. It’s just a shame it can never happen now.”
Quite so. Yet despite this major setback, Will.i.am reckons that plenty of other big names are just itching to get into the studio with the pop princess.
“There are still lots of great artists waiting to work with Cheryl when she gets over to the US — the Peas, Justin Bieber and Usher,” he said.
Last night, we saw Kimberley Walsh join Ne-Yo on his show ‘One Night Stand’ to sing a duet with him called ‘Hate That I Love You’.

The Once singer also revealed that having to fight nerves on the show enabled her to have the confidence she now oozes at her gigs.
‘X Factor was the most nerve-racking thing I’ve ever done in my life but it really helped me build my confidence and bring me to where I am now’, she said.
Speaking to Metro at this weekend’s V Festival, Miss Vickers told us how despite X Factor shooting her to fame, she doesn’t keep in contact with the show’s jusges – Simon Cowell, Louis Walsh, Cheryl Cole and Dannii Minogue – for any more advice.
