Nicola Roberts designs her very own Renault Twingo!

Nicola is a VERY lucky girl. She got to design an interior for a car!

To support the market launch of New Twingo, Renault is creating a unique and entertaining artistic experience

Four artists with “twinguesque” genes express their view of the world: joyous, optimistic, clever and bold, just like the compact city car. Renault is giving the main artistic disciplines – fashion, music, design, cooking – an opportunity to express themselves in a bright and original environment: by making over the interior of New Twingo.

Other designers include French fashion designer Jean-Charles de Castelbajac, a man of multiple talents, Italian chef Davide Scabin renowned for his creative cooking, and pragmatic German designer, Nils Holger Moormann, who finds new uses for everyday objects.

Cheryl Cole’s 11-hour tattoo session

IF you needed proof that northerners really are harder than southerners, Cheryl Cole is it.

The Geordie endured an ELEVEN-HOUR sitting for her latest tattoo, five more than David Beckham managed for his biggest inking.

And Chezza, 27, did not cry once, and broke off only to get a sandwich.

The X Factor star designed the 13in elaborate butterfly-based back tat herself and is said to have had the etching done in LA’s Shamrock Social Club in August. Dancer boyfriend Derek Hough was by her side for large parts of the procedure.

Costing £900, the singer’s latest tattoo – her fifth – symbolises her independence following her split from husband Ashley Cole.

She told a pal: “The tattoo is deeply personal. It took weeks to come up with the final design.

“It has a strong symbolic meaning and signifies a fresh start and my new independence.

“The sitting itself was pretty painful but I was determined to get it done in one hit. I didn’t cry once!”

It also didn’t heal fully for a couple of months and Cheryl chose to show it off for the first time at this week’s National TV Awards.

Wearing a £2,200 black, backless Versace gown, it raised a smile, and a light pawing, from Simon Cowell, and was the talk of the red carpet.

Last night, celebrity tattooist Henry Hate said: “It would have been extremely painful, felt like intense sunburn and obviously taken many hours to do.”

The singer also chose to cover up another of her infamous tattoos – the “Mrs C” inking on her neck.

As well as a barbed wire marking on her right thigh and a Polynesian tribal sign on her hand, Cheryl also has a massive tattoo snaking up from her left thigh to her bottom.
