She’s gearing up for the June 18th release of her third studio album, A Million Lights, and, as part of the promotions, Cheryl Cole took over the cover of the June 2012 issue of British GQ magazine.
The 28-year-old English pop star oozed sexiness for the Mariano Vivanco shot spread while opening up about topics including her yearning for a husband and children, as well as her soft spot for Prince Harry.
With the issue set to hit newsstands on May 3rd, highlights from Miss Cole’s interview are as follows. For more, be sure to pay a visit to British GQ!
On her desire to find a husband and have children:
“I’d love kids. I’m obsessed with babies. Of course I’ve thought about baby names. A million times. I like (the name) Alfie for a little boy. I know that is what I was put on Earth to do – to be a mother.”
On Simon Cowell having reached out to her to make amends after her ‘X Factor’ firing:
“It felt great, actually. When I landed back in England there was a message from Simon, saying ‘Hello, Cheryl. So, now that you’ve blown me up in Afghanistan, can we talk?’ I’m not one of those people who holds a grudge.”
On her soft spot for Prince Harry:
“I think he’s amazing and I think you can relate to him because he’s made mistakes. He’s cool. Although, I think I would be Cougarville in that relationship.”
On missing intimacy now that she’s a single lady:
“I am a woman and I like sex.”

Lana Del Rey wrote ‘perfect’ track for Cheryl Cole
Lana Del Rey has revealed that the track she has written for Cheryl Cole is ‘perfect’ for the former Girls Aloud star.
Speaking to Fearne Cotton on Radio One last week, Del Rey told the excitable radio host:
“Cheryl is working on a song that I had written. It’s perfect for her and she really likes it.”
The American singer, who performed her new single ‘Blue Jeans’ as well as Kasabian’s ‘Goodnight Kiss’ also admitted that despite Cheryl having recorded one of her songs, the pair have never met.
When asked if the two had met, Del Rey admitted awkwardly: “We talked on email.”
