BLACK Eyed Peas frontman Will.i.am has vowed to cheer up Cheryl Cole.

The singer says he is desperate to see the X Factor judge, 27, who is recovering from malaria.

He said: “Cheryl’s incredibly strong-spirited and she’s a fighter.

“She’s making progress and will be back at work shortly. It’s her passion.”

Will.i.am added: “I’ll see her soon. I want to put that gorgeous smile back on her pretty face.”
