CHERYL Cole spoke out over her divorce from love rat husband Ashley – and admitted: “I feel betrayed.”
The X Factor judge said: “Yes, definitely I do, but I’ve got to take everything that’s happened and learn from it. I accept that that’s a chapter of my life that’s finished.
“And I’ve just got to be grateful that I’ve got so many good things going on. I have. And there’s no children, you know?”
Cheryl, 27, added: “Some people’s lives fall apart. Of course, it’s heartbreaking, but it’s not anything remotely like it could have been and I’m very, very thankful for that.”
The Sun told how the Girls Aloud star divorced cheating England ace Ashley, 29, at London’s High Court last Friday – citing his “unreasonable behaviour”.

Neither Cheryl, 27, nor Chelsea left-back Ashley, 27, are expected to be present when their four-year marriage is officially declared over at the High Court in London today.
The X Factor judge is in Los Angeles while England star Ashley will face Bulgaria at Wembley tonight. Their case – numbered FD10D02550 – will be the first of 29 to be rubber-stamped by District Judge Christopher Simmonds. In a break from protocol, only their initials – CAC v AC – were listed yesterday at the court, unlike the other couples’ cases. Their decree nisi is to be announced at 10am in Court 9 of the Principal Registry of the High Court’s Family Division in High Holborn, central London.
Cheryl Cole has scrapped plans to write an autobiography because she’s still healing from her recent marriage split, according to a report.
The Girls Aloud singer announced plans earlier this year to release a book of personal photographs documenting the history of her life so far.
Cole was set to write the official tome, titled “Cheryl Cole: My World”, and release it in September. But she has now ditched the book following her split from soccer stud Ashley Cole, according to The People.
A source tells the publication, “Cheryl was all set to write the book – then decided she just couldn’t face talking about her marriage break-up. She has had a hard time of late and is getting her life together, but the time isn’t right to do the book at the moment. She’s adamant she simply can’t do it yet.”
Cole walked out on the sports star earlier this year following allegations he cheated on her with four women and the former couple’s divorce is expected to be finalized in the coming weeks.

In her eyes it would be disrespectful to behave like that so soon,” the source explained. “When the divorce is through – or at least when things have progressed more – fine. But in the meantime she’s dead against it. In spite of what’s gone on between them, she believes she has to do things by the book.
“She feels sorry for Derek that the impending divorce is overshadowing their relationship and the way they can behave.” Cheryl and the American dancer have been in Los Angeles for over a week as she resumes work on her second solo album.

However, it seems that anything related to the Chelsea footballer is seen as ‘stressful’ to Chezza, as she has allegedly been ignoring doctors orders by working from her sick bed – but will NOT deal with anything to do with her imminent divorce or her estranged hubby.
A source told Now magazine: “This means the divorce is being stalled and could take even longer to go through.”
“Why she’s refusing to deal with it, yet is still liaising with her management about her schedule and texting people like Simon Cowell about X Factor, has become a bone of contention with her family.”
They added: “Her mum Joan is absolutely beside herself. She knows Cheryl finds the divorce stressful. After all, she’s run down because she overworked herself in the first place in an attempt to block it out.”
“But Joan says the avoidance tactics need to stop. She thinks her daughter should get this process through as quickly as possible, so she can start healing. Ashley’s presence is a burden to the entire family.”
Meanwhile, Cheryl is said to be worried that she will never sing again after losing her voice for five days when battling the mosquito-carried virus.

The Girls Aloud is set to appear on Morgan’s chat show Life Stories, according to The Daily Star.
The paper claims that Cheryl is prepared to answer any questions about Ashley in what promises to be an explosive interview.
An insider said: “Piers has openly slammed Ashley in the past so won’t be pulling any punches.”
Cole was scheduled to appear on Jonathan Ross’ Friday chat show back in March in what would have been her first UK TV appearance since she split from Ashley.
The singer had to pull out after falling ill with bronchitis.
Cheryl Cole may receive millions in divorce payout
Cheryl Cole could be set to receive millions in a divorce settlement from husband Ashley.
The X Factor judge and Girls Aloud star was thought to be uninterested in receiving a payout, but The Sun has now suggested otherwise.
Ashley flew out to South Africa with the England squad this week, with the side playing their first World Cup match next Saturday.
But insiders told the news provider he signed papers agreeing to the demands of Cheryl’s lawyers before he left and is now expecting to receive a bill of around £4.5 million.
“He can’t believe she will walk away with nothing,” a source said. “She worked as hard as him for their possessions.”
Cheryl filed for divorce last month after claims Ashley had cheated on her caused a split.
