Christmas has come early for Cheryl Cole. She’s gone platinum in the UK and now she won’t have to Fight Fight Fight to make it in the US. We can reveal that the richest man in hip-hop, Jay-Z, wants to take the X Factor judge under his wing and kick-start her career Stateside. She already has the backing of US hit-maker Will.i.am, who produced her debut album 3 Words and now she’s hoping to make music with Beyonce’s hubby too.
We’re told: “Cheryl is the biggest fan of Jay-Z and Beyonce. To hear the feeling is mutual has totally made her year. She never imagined her album would have taken off like this. To get Jay-Z’s support is beyond her wildest dreams.” It all came about after Chezza hit it off with Beyonce on X Factor. The closest the Geordie lass had come to working with the hip-hop hero is watching him from the side of the stage after supporting him at Wembley with Coldplay earlier this year. She and husband Ashley Cole were totally in awe and couldn’t believe they were that close to him. |
