
Cheryl Cole‘s team are trying to land the singer a number of A-List collaborations for her debut US album ahead of her appearance on the American X Factor.
The Girls Aloud star who looks certain to judge on the US talent show has already released two albums in the UK but her management want to put together a new album which would help launch her music career in the country.
The album will feature new songs and the best tracks from her two UK albums “3 Words” and “Messy Little Raindrops” with some being revamped to appeal to the US market according to sources.
An insider said: “Cheryl’s management want her to become the next big popstar in America and are working on securing some A-List names for the album.
“A Rihanna duet is a certainty and will.i.am is trying to convince Minaj to work on the LP too. Katy Perry has also been in talks with Cheryl about a duet as she is a big fan.”
The insider added that Cheryl is “desperate” to work with Beyonce and Britney Spears too but knows that a collaboration with both superstars would “take a long time to achieve”.
The album will also feature a few of her tracks with Black Eyed Peas will.i.am who she is good friends with as well as her collaboration with Travie McCoy, it is believed.
