X FACTOR star CHERYL COLE is being turned into a waxwork for Madame Tussauds.

But she is causing its bosses a headache – by refusing to dress it in any of her beloved frocks.

The Girls Aloud star’s dummy will join the biggest names in showbiz – including current favourites actress HELEN MIRREN, Twilight actor ROBERT PATTINSON and singer LEONA LEWIS – on display at the tourist attraction in central London.

But the Geordie lass, 26, who is divorcing footballer ASHLEY COLE, cannot decide which clothes to dress her double in.

Cheryl has offered to choose a new outfit with the help of new best friend WILL.I.AM from the BLACK EYED PEAS and her mum Joan Callaghan. A source said: “Cheryl knows it’s a huge deal to model for a waxwork.

“But she doesn’t want to part with the frock they wanted. They asked for two others but she doesn’t want to give them away either. Will and her mum are suggesting dresses.”

Tussauds are working around the clock on Cheryl’s wax model – Dame Helen Mirren’s £150,000 figure took four months.

Cheryl has had a sitting, but it is not known when her waxwork will be ready.
