Cheryl Cole has pledged to stand by her man… but she is moving to Los Angeles.

The sexy X Factor star, 26, wants to copy pals Posh and Becks and “break” America, leaving husband Ashley back home.

Singer Cheryl hopes to launch her TV and solo music career there by February.

She made a vow of “long distance love” to the Chelsea left-back, who will not leave Britain because of his own career.

Friends say living apart will strain their relationship. Two years ago, Ashley, 28, allegedly cheated on Cheryl. A source said that he “isn’t happy” about her leaving.

“He thinks she’s being selfish but Cheryl’s career is her top priority,” the source said. Cheryl is caught in a bidding war between a US record label and Simon Cowell, 50.

TV’s Mr Nasty is fighting to win the US rights to her solo album 3 Words.
