Cheryl Cole will be hosting the Judges Houses stage of The X Factor from Hollywood while Simon Cowell will go more low-key in Spain.

This stage in the competition splits the contestants into four groups – the boys under 25s, girls under 25s, groups and over 25s.

Judges Simon Cowell, Louis Walsh, Cheryl Cole and Dannii Minogue will invite their category’s contestants to a house where they will whittle them down ready for the live shows.

Cole, 27, will fly her acts out to Hollywood so she can continue working on her next album in LA while Cowell, 50, will travel to Spain and set up home there.

Irishman Louis Walsh will stay close to home and have his acts travel with him to Shannon, Ireland, while new mum Minogue, 38, will fly her acts to Melbourne, Australia, so she can spend more time with her baby son.
