Hopefully you should now see our brand new layout that i applied to the site last night. It was made by Milk & Sugar designs and i love it!

I wanted to reflect the girls solo projects as the last layout still showed them as a group. Hopefully this time next year we will have another new layout with the group back together again!

In the meantime, we will keep bringing you news, videos and updates about the Girls and what they are currently up to.

Our Girls Aloud Media Forum turns 6 years old today!

Little did i know back in 2004 how big, active and enjoyable the forum would become.

We recently reached 12,000 members and have over 1,000 members log into the forums everyday.

That is a big achievement but wouldnt be possible without its members. Thank you fans for supporting us with our ups and downs. And hope we can carry on with the forum supporting Girls Aloud in their future careers.

ANGRY X Factor fans have accused show bosses of banning “ugly” people from sitting behind the judges at auditions – in case their faces are caught on camera.
They claim only good-looking youngsters are getting prime spots behind Simon Cowell, Cheryl Cole, Louis Walsh and Natalie Imbruglia.

Some ordinary-looking fans – who booked tickets well in advance and queued for hours in a bid to bag front row seats at Birmingham’s LG Arena this week – claim they were held back as security staff hand-picked prettier, younger people to take their places. The ITV show’s auditions are being filmed in high definition for the first time this year.

Audience members have aired their disgust on the internet. On showbiz news site Digital Spy, user spkX complained: “They go through the queue and pick the good-looking ones.”

Twitter was also awash with complaints about security staff – who allegedly told crowds only attractive people would be allowed to sit at the front.

A Cheryl Cole fan, using the name @GirlsAloudMedia, wrote: “LG security said it was pretty people and that it was all run by X Factor so they couldn’t stop it.”

A fan called Alex wrote: “It’s an absolute joke! I went yesterday, they pick attractive people to sit at the front, regardless of priority (ticketing) or where they are in the queue. “I was so gutted when I was in my seat, I had tears in my eyes.”

Meanwhile, young, fashionable and attractive audience members have been boasting online about how their pretty faces were a passport to the front. One Twitter user called oneofthosefaces, whose name is listed as Grace Medford, wrote: “Just got pulled out the queue because we’re young and really, really ridiculously good looking so we get to sit by the judges.”

Last night show chiefs declined to comment.

We are a week into June 2010 already, but it will still be a packed month of dates for your diaries.

This month we have the filming of ‘The X Factor‘ auditions which start in Glasgow today. Hasnt it come around quick! This is where the judges visit various venues and judge those who got through the earlier ‘producer’ stages. I am personally lucky enough to go to the Birmingham 14th filming with 2 members from the forum, i hope most of you got tickets to watch it too.

Next week starts off with a birthday, Nadine Coyle‘s (15th). NadineCoyleFan.com are currently running a birthday book [HERE], so go and sign that online before the 15th and hopefully get your message read by Nadine.

During that week, Kimberley Walsh will be starting promotion for her Sky1 documentry ‘Blue Jean Girl’. so expect to see her on ‘This Morning’ and BBC breakfast news on the 15th. The documentry is set to air on the 16th.

Kimberley will also be filming ‘The 5 O’Clock show on the 14th, which will be aired on both the 17th & 18th! If your quick, you can still apply for a ticket [HERE]

After yet more X Factor filming, the month ends with another birthday, Cheryl’s which is on the 30th.
