Sarah Harding is out of rehab!
Here’s a brand new picture of Sarah Harding after leaving rehab. She left the clinic over the weekend, and i for one am glad she has recovered. Well done Sarah, we’ve missed you!
Cheryl Cole has reportedly taken time out of her hectic schedule to visit bandmate Sarah Harding in her Arizona rehab facility.
Sarah checked in three weeks ago for depression and alcohol-related issues, following her heartbreaking split from DJ Tom Crane.
Cheryl, whose LA apartment is 500 miles from the treatment centre, is said to have made time to visit her after years of worrying about her own troubled brother Andrew.
A source told the Daily Star: “Cheryl is really concerned for her friend Sarah. She made time in her busy schedule to travel over to Arizona and visit her in the rehab centre.
“She has told Sarah she is more than welcome to use her LA home as an escape pad when she comes out of rehab. A bolt-hole where Sarah can chill out and escape the London limelight and maybe try to save her relationship with Tom”.
But dedicated Sarah has reportedly extended her stay in the facilitiy, and is unlikely to be out in time for Christmas.
Mitch Winehouse wants Sarah Harding to front Amy Foundation
Amy Winehouse’s father Mitch has said he is looking to recruit Girls Aloud singer Sarah Harding as an ambassador for the newly set-up Amy Winehouse Foundation.
Harding entered rehab earlier this month in a bid to deal with “alcohol and depression issues”, after it was claimed that she’d hit “rock bottom” after splitting from her fiancé Tom Crane last month.
Mitch, who set up the foundation in memory of his daughter, who died earlier this year, has said he sees Harding as the ideal person to get the message out about the foundation’s aim of “helping those struggling with substance abuse”.
He told The Sun:
If we could pick Sarah up when she recovers and put her in front of a school assembly to tell those kids the reality of drinking and alcoholism, it would be making a big start. Sarah will be ideal, but all in good time when she has faced her own problems. There might be some kids who actually take notice of what she has to say.
Mitch confirmed that the foundation has recently made three donations to causes that were close to his daughter’s heart, with £10,000 given to three charities respectively.
Sarah Harding ‘doing well’ in rehab, says Kimberley Walsh
Sarah Harding is doing “really well” after entering rehab, says Girls Aloud bandmate Kimberley Walsh.
It emerged last week Sarah had entered a treatment centre to help her deal with depression and her drinking following her split from DJ boyfriend Tom Crane.
Kimberley said of Sarah: “She’s good. She’s doing really, really well.
“We’re all there for her.”
Sarah’s Girls Aloud bandmates encouraged her to get herself together ahead of reunion dates next year.
Kimberley has also been receiving moral support from her bandmates recently – as she takes to the stage in Shrek the Musical.
Cheryl Cole and Nicola Roberts have already been to see her take to the stage as the gutsy Princess Fiona.
And she is confident Sarah and Nadine Coyle will also pop along to the show.
“Nadine is going to come, hopefully, and see it before the run is through. That will be nice. And Sarah too.”
Kimberley stepped into the show at the Theatre Royal Drury Lane following the departure of pregnant Amanda Holden earlier this month.
But the singer said her new role will not hamper any preparations for a Girls Aloud reunion.
“We’re still looking to try and plan something for next year. I finish early next year, so it’s fine.
“It’s too early to give anything away, but it’s exciting, the thought of us being back together.”
Sarah Harding is ‘excited and scared’ about next chapter
Sarah Harding is “excited and scared” about her life since splitting from her fiance.
The Girls Aloud star separated from DJ Tom Crane earlier this month after dating him since 2007 and although she admits she is uncertain about her future she is still remaining positive.
When asked how she is feeling about her life at the moment and her approaching 30th birthday, Sarah said: “I’m excited, scared … I’m ready to take another leap. I’m entering a whole new chapter and it’s scary. Hopefully the best is yet to come. I feel a little more at ease with what’s going on in my life. I know where my career’s at. I know what I want out of life.”
The sexy star is keen to pursue other projects away from singing, and is hoping to do more acting following her roles in the two ‘St. Trinian’s’ movies.
Sarah – who is reuniting with her Girls Aloud bandmates for their 10th anniversary next year – added in an interview with LOOK magazine: “I’m just going to carry on as normal, doing what I do. I love to perform and entertain whether that’s acting, singing or modelling. I nearly did ‘X-Men’. I got called back three times but January Jones got the role. I don’t know if I would have been ready for it.”
Sarah and Tom reportedly split because of their arguments over having a long-distance relationship. The DJ spent most of the summer in Ibiza working, while the singer stayed at her home in Buckinghamshire, South East England.
Nicola and Cheryl both tweeted this sneeky picture of the 4 of them (minus Nadine) together on Sunday night.
Fans who spoke to Nicola at her album launch the next day, were told the 4 girls were at Kimberley’s house catching up. Nicola wanted to tweet a picture of them all but as most were makeup-less and in trackies, they posed in the mirror hiding behind their phones! According to Nicola, Sarah didnt want to hide her face, which is why you can see her peeking!

So sorry for lack of updates I went on holiday last week and it was prob the worst week i could of chosen as all the girls were out doing something (even Nadine LOL!) Its typical that the week im offline, all news comes at once.

One of the big stories last week was that Cheryl flew to Afghanistan to visit the troops. The visit was part of Pride of Britain Awards and footage of her being there will be aired next month.
In more Cheryl news last week, it was announced that she will bring out a capsule shoe collection with StylistPick.com. The shoes will be out in December and will be at affordable prices (add them to your xmas lists!) More info

Sarah has been quiet lately after finishing the filming for Run for your Wife and taking a break from her fiance Tom Crane. She did however, find time to hit the catwalk as part of London Fashion Week for LOOK.
