According to today’s papers – which we all know by now not to believe until we hear from official sources – Nadine is to set up a girlband.
‘When she was in Girls Aloud, Nadine always wanted to be the leader but it never worked out like that. By putting together her own band, she can take control and also reap the financial rewards.’ a source told The Mail On Sunday.
Nadine’s tweets were obvious that she loved being in the band again, when they reunited for the Tour, so it could be easy to think that this story is true. However, don’t get your hopes up too high until we hear more of it!
**UPDATE**
Just spotted that the story is “nonsense” and that Nadine remains “completely committed” to her second solo album.
An insider revealed: “Nadine is working on her own material, so I don’t know where this nonsense story has come from. She’s completely committed to her next album and has been working in the studio since Girls Aloud split.”

Nadine went clubbing in New York on Thursday night at Marquee Nightclub.
The woman she is with in the photo is Susanne Bartsch, an Event Producer.
From photos ive seen on the Marquee facebook page, it seemed like an interesting night and makes me wonder if it inspired Nadine for any ‘wacky’ outfits for future performances (remember the ‘fro and purple corset outfit the last time she performed in NY? !!)
Hurry up back to LDN Nadine!

Nadine teased us with a picture of herself holed up in a studio somewhere in LA (we think!).
She recently tweeted she was doing Skype sessions with a producer from London, with rumours it could be the fabulous Xenomania, especially when she highlighted the ‘X’ in excellent, in her tweet!
Nadine has also told her twitter fans that she is expected to be in London any day now….

An unreleased song of one of Nadine’s solo tracks called ‘Save Me/Don Julio’ was leaked as a small 28 second studio snippet yesterday.
Previously we had only heard this song, as performed at GUMBOPOP in 2011 [HERE]
The song is a fan favourite of her solo era, and we have our fingers crossed for a full version soon! But for now, we will stick this on repeat for 3 minutes instead.

The girls took to their individual twitter accounts to thank the fans for their support during their 10 year career as a band.
Cheryl and Nadine were the first to crack, even before the last show in Liverpool, but we hadn’t known at the time it was their ‘final’ goodbyes as an Alouder:
Cheryl
“To the people that haven’t been able to make it, for what ever reason, we feel your support regardless and have done for 10 yrs.”
Nadine
“I love you @GirlsAloud fans so so so so so much! You have given me everything! Thank you, thank you, thank you! All the hairflips, Twisted ankles, early mornings, late nights, sore throats, tears & facing height fears are all to try and give you the show you deserve! I have seen you many of you at the tour work as hard as us! That is why I cried last night on stage & probably tonight again. Not sad, happy tears. I cannot thank you enough. I love seeing all your faces. Ok more tears. I love you all forever. Xxxxx NC”
Then earlier today, Kimberley, Sarah and Nicola surfaced to say their speeches:
Kimberley
“To our Alouders, Just wanna say please don’t be sad today we have had some amazing years together and we should be celebrating the incredible memories. I will always be there for you all and I know you will for me. This is just the beginning of a new journey and it’s gonna be fun. Love you all for your unconditional support”
Sarah

Nicola
“Forever Alouder’s..

Memories & Dreams that I will hold in my heart forever. Sisters who I will never let leave my side. Nadine met up with her friend Roisin Hannigan to see Irish rockers The Script perform in Glasgow on Tuesday night. Being her fab self, they managed to get the best seats in the house, ones that were on-stage!

Roisin’s tweets are protected so I’ve embedded my own tweet but still crediting her.
Nadine later tweeted that she really enjoyed herself.
